Tomamu, where the new "Club Med" opened, is located in Shimukappu Village, almost in the center of Hokkaido. It takes about an hour and a half from New Chitose Airport by car. There is a direct express bus service from the airport.
This is the exterior of Club Med Hokkaido Tomamu. The chic building with its lavish use of wood is reminiscent of a high-class European snow resort.

I checked in immediately. The front desk has a luxurious and relaxed atmosphere.
The lobby interior is stylishly designed with motifs of Japanese nature such as cherry blossoms and beech trees.
The rooms are high quality but not showy, modern and smart. Guests can truly relax during their stay.
One of the main characteristics of Club Med is that it is "all-inclusive. In layman's terms, "all inclusive" means that all meals, drinks, sports lessons, etc. are included in the price of your stay. In other words, all meals, drinks, sports lessons, and all other fees during your stay are included in the price of your trip. This system is truly wonderful, and I will be experiencing it often during my stay here, but more on that later.
