Designer Ito ( , Ito)I had been looking for a classic down vest with a 70's taste in vintage clothing, but there are so few of them these days that I could not find an ideal one. So I decided to make one myself, and came up with the idea of this vest.

Ito.The simple design eliminates even the front zipper. This makes it easy to coordinate and take off, making it ideal for town use.

Ito.It is made by knitting fine yarns in high density using ultra-high-gauge machines, which is rare in the world. . This results in a functional fabric that is thin but has firmness and excellent elasticity.

Ito.I think it would be interesting to match it with a beautiful item , such as a tailored jacket. Traditional materials such as tweed would be a good match.

Ito.It looks like a traditional tweed fabric itself, but it is soft and comfortable, just like a sweatshirt. Yet, it has more bounce and firmness than a sweatshirt, so I thought it would be perfect for a set-up.

Ito.. We aimed for an Ivy-like atmosphere by making the front a three-button step back. Such a voluminous fabric may show too much fullness, but we devised a pattern so that the lapel returns nicely.

After the fabric is knitted, the reverse side is brushed to improve warmth and feel against the skin. Combined with its high elasticity, I think it is very comfortable.

Ito.At [Curly], our goal was to make traditional items with cut-and-sew, so we dared to avoid making sporty jerseys. However, it is essentially our specialty. In the brand's 10th year, we have released this product with full confidence.

Ito.. First, we started with the development of the fabric to create a high quality material feel. . We have created a subdued atmosphere by suppressing the luster as much as possible. . We also added details not found in conventional jersey, such as a boxy silhouette for the tops and a halfway stop on the line of the pants.

Ito.I came up with this design because I wanted to give a masculine twist to the capes and ponchos worn by women. . The hood, front buttons, and coloring give it a masculine look.

Ito.It was difficult to create a three-dimensional silhouette while using a linear pattern. Since the silhouette is easily created by the elasticity of the fabric, I took extra care in creating the pattern.
