Canada Goose (CANADA GOOSE ), which continues to attract more and more fans each winter, has been produced in Canada since 1957, and its down, made with meticulous handcraftsmanship, is becoming a winter tradition. But why does it enjoy such overwhelming support among such a wide variety of choices? Why does it tickle consumers' purchasing desires so much? In this third installment of our three-part series, we ask the experts on "Canada Goose" to find out the root of the brand's appeal. How does he appear from the viewpoint of styling or fashion direction? We asked him about his true feelings as well as his spring/summer styling.

When did you first learn about "Canada Goose"?
two villagesI don't remember the specifics, but I think it's been more than 10 years . . It's a brand with a history of more than half a century. I knew about it before it was launched in Japan on a large scale, and in fact, I had one myself. After that, I styled a runway show in Tokyo in 2017, which is how I got to know the brand better.
Frankly, what is your impression?
two villagesThe image of this brand is that of a "genuine down jacket brand" supported by a stoic approach to manufacturing. However, nowadays, there is a wide variety of spring and summer items, and there are also many items of clothing that do not contain down. This is the first time I have had the opportunity to style items other than down wear in earnest, and I realized that these items are also function-oriented. Every item is designed with "how to maintain comfortable conditions" in mind, and then fashionable for town use is added on top of that. I was able to reconfirm that the collection has a consistent philosophy.
You have styled three typical spring/summer outerwear pieces for us. I would like to know about the process and if there is a landing point that you envisioned.
two villagesThe brand's core concept of "authentic and functional" was to be utilized and worn in a straightforward manner. This was the image that came to mind. The premise was that we wanted to propose something that would be cool to wear for people who love universal things.
I was impressed by the careful examination of additions and subtractions in the styling .
two villages. Of course, it is up to the owner of the item to decide how to wear it. However, my suggestion is that there is no need to be overly fashionable. It is enough to wear this outerwear from "Canada Goose," but how to add a subtle hook to it.
. without being too fashion-forward.
two villagesThey want functionality, but they also want to look good. I believe that people who seek "Canada Goose" are those who seek such a double standard. This time, we were especially conscious of that sense of balance.
01_Nanaimo JacketEnjoy being authentic and honest.
two villagesWhen I saw this jacket, my quick thought was that I wanted to put it together in an authentic way . . or perhaps you could say, "conservative". For an inner layer, I chose a white knit that goes well with the early spring beige. The pants are slacks-like, but the center crease makes them too stiff, so I chose something a little more casual. Sneakers would be too rough, so I chose casual leather shoes. They are comfortable, yet look cool, and have a modern, casual feel to them. That is what I wanted to express most here.
The hood can be squeezed with a spindle , and can protect the face well. The hood follows your face even when you shake it. The cuffs and back of the hood have reflectors to keep out the wind and rain. The fabric is waterproof , breathable, and warm. The yoke on the back has a ventilation function. Packable for easy portability.
02_Field PonchoFor a contemporary dress style.
two villagesIt's cool to be an adult who wears a contemporary dress style that is not overly formal. This styling is an extension of that, so to speak. . When I saw this poncho, I thought, "I could wear this with a suit. The suit is made of a rather light, Italian-looking material. I paired it with a khaki green color that evokes the smell of nature. Ponchos and suits may be a bit of an unexpected combination, but it makes sense and is inevitable. I think it's really cool.
Form-fitting, fully covering the body. The ease of movement can be adjusted by tightening the drawcords on the sleeves. . Highly water-repellent, with reflectors on the back. The front pocket has excellent storage capacity and can easily fit a 300ml bottle. The flap is water-repellent and keeps what is inside dry.
03_ Photojournalist JacketPractical and highly sensitive adult street style.
two villagesThe photojournalist jacket is just the right item for a casual adult style. . so I styled it a little more active. In other words, I styled it more like a street style. The colorful parka and white sneakers were the image that came to mind when I saw this jacket. . I paired it with a pair of sporty nylon pants. Because the jacket has strong details, this kind of addition is just right. . It might be a good idea to choose a parka in white and keep it in a monotone color.
The shoulder and front pockets are made of high-strength Cordura nylon. This is a detail that combines functionality and design. The sides can be opened and closed with zips. . The side zippers serve the dual function of ventilation and securing the range of motion.
In fact, it is one of the few brands that have maintained a contemporary balance.

To begin with, the fun of outdoor mixing was to incorporate things that were unnecessary for town wear, but nowadays it is commonplace. Therefore, we live in an age in which design and functionality must be combined, rather than being separate entities. From this perspective, I would say that the brand has a very good balance.
