The most important thing is to listen to this when you go here.

Does Mr. Yumie spend all day long immersed in music because of his profession?

bows and arrowsWhen I am at home, I basically don't listen to it at all. My commute to work is about 2 minutes, and I also ride my bicycle.

That is surprising.

bows and arrowsHowever, I always take music with me when I travel or go somewhere for work. This is because I consider the place where I listen to music to be more important than anyone else. When I travel, I like to choose music that suits the situation. I have always been particular about the connection between landscape and sound. Ever since I was a child, I have always loved listening to music while watching the ocean.

bows and arrowsRegardless of such natural scenery, I have lived in Tokyo all my life, and I have always pursued music that fits the city with its forests of buildings. I think that is what I am trying to embody with Adult Oriented Records.

What do you use to listen to music when traveling long distances?

bows and arrowsI exclusively use an iPhone and the earphones that came with the iPhone.

Not too picky about audio equipment?

bows and arrowsEarphones tend to hurt my ears in my case. That is why I have not delved too deeply into the market. Of course, I had never used the wireless type that has been the talk of the town lately.

Many music lovers dare to choose a wired connection because Bluetooth connection degrades the sound quality.

bows and arrowsFrankly, I personally don't think there is that much of a difference in sound. When the sound is digital, it can't compete with the sound of vinyl records and the like in the first place. So I don't care at all whether it is wired or wireless when I use it in everyday life.

In your work, too, do you pay that much attention to audio equipment?

bows and arrowsOf course, when I am producing an original remix record, I listen to the sound source sent to me by the track maker many times throughout the day. That is why I am particular about the equipment I use to accurately check the detailed sound.

RYUSENKEI's "Moolight Evening," an AOR limited edition, was released last December.

Shure earphones reproduce realistic sound without embellishment.

Have you known about the Sure brand for some time?

bows and arrowsOf course I knew about it. But not as a brand of earphones, but as a brand of record needles. I have been using "M44G" since I was a teenager.

The SE215 Special Edition earphones with high sound insulation are, so to speak, an entry-level model from Shure. It has the advantage of being well-balanced and usable with a variety of devices, including mobile devices.

bows and arrowsThis is exactly right for me, who listens to music in a variety of situations (laughs).

bows and arrowsAs I mentioned earlier, the most important factor in checking a sound source is the accurate reproduction of sound. I am more than happy that you are able to clear that up.

I actually wore them, and it is true that they are well-balanced, and the sound is clear and free of ornate embellishment. The sound is not unpleasant, or rather, it is comfortable to the ear. The sealed feeling allows me to concentrate on the sound.

The high sound insulation design is one thing, but it's also because the included ear pads fit the ear and block naturally.

bows and arrowsWith the ones that come with smartphones, they are plastic and feel like you are forcing them into your ears. But with these earphones, they snap into the cartilage of the ear and feel good right up to the moment they are placed in the ear. Earphones are basically used when moving around, and how stress-free they are is also very important. Therefore, I want to reduce the feeling of a foreign object sticking into the ear as much as possible. From that point of view, the Shure earphones were quite good. At first, it took me a while to understand how to put them in (laughs).

So-called "Sure Hanging" is a bit peculiar (laughs). But once you make the shape of the wire, it will be easier to put it on the next time.

bows and arrowsI guess the fact that the body part and cable are detachable and the base is movable is a factor in the easy fit. It's such a comfortable fit! I'm impressed. This is the first time I've used wireless earphones, and I'm really impressed with how easy they are to use. Once I use them, I don't think I'll ever go back to other earbuds.

In addition to the wireless Bluetooth type used by Mr. Yumigami, the SE215 Special Edition earphones from Sure are also available in a wired universal cable type compatible with Android/iOS. The model is richly finished by enhancing the low frequency range with the "faithful to the original sound" that is synonymous with the brand. One of the main features of the Shure earphones is their ergonomic, high sound insulation design, which naturally blocks out ambient noise up to 37db, providing a comfortable listening environment. The Bluetooth version has a battery that lasts up to 8 hours and a range of up to 10 meters. You can enjoy your music in any situation that suits your lifestyle.
