Mountainsmith" gained popularity in the 1990s as an outdoor bag brand. This year, the brand invited F/CE (F/CE.®) designer Toshifumi Yamane to join its apparel line, which offers basic wear with just the right amount of outdoor flavor. You also came to today's shoot on skates. As a skater, do you have any particular t-shirts you like to wear?
Basically, I tend to choose size L or XL with a larger or thicker silhouette. I emphasize ease of movement.
Do you have a favorite skate style right now?
Big size. I also like thicker fabrics and heavier weights because they are cooler.
How many T-shirts do you have?
I think I have about 70 to 80 pieces of clothing. I gave one to a friend the other day, but before that I had more than 120 T-shirts (laughs). I often receive T-shirts from various people, so I have a lot of T-shirts.
What is your favorite point of the T-shirt you wore this time?
The form is firm and the fabric is thick, so it looks mature.

We heard that you usually shoot movies.
I shoot skate movies, music videos, and everyday scenes.
What kind of camera do you use?
It is for mini DV videotape. The camera itself costs less than 20,000 yen. I have been using it for a long time because I like the quality of the picture.
What kind of T-shirts do you usually wear?
I like larger sized items. I also often wear printed T-shirts.
Do you usually wear sandals?
I also skate, so I have a lot of sneakers, but I wear them a lot when I go outdoors.
What are your favorite points of the T-shirts and sandals you wore this time?
The T-shirts are thick and comfortable. And the sandals have cushioning and are easy to walk in even on bad roads, so they will come in handy outdoors. Today's style is also the season for festivals, so I dressed like I'm going to a festival (laughs).

I do hula dancing, surfing, kickboxing, and yoga. I just love to move my body. I have been dancing for about 10 years now, regardless of genre.
What kind of T-shirts do you usually like?
I like simple designs, usually smaller fitted ones.
What is your favorite point of the T-shirt you wore this time?
I like the shape. So I wore a large men's size one oversized. I like how the oversized top gives the bottom a tighter shape like today's skirt, which is cute.

This is a NAGASAWA pisto. I am from Osaka, and I always wanted to ride a bicycle made in my hometown.
Do you always have a certain style when you ride your bicycle?
Anyway, I emphasize ease of movement. Overall, I like simple styles.

I like today's T-shirt because it is not flashy, but the body is solid and gives a solid impression. Usually, I often choose T-shirts that are a little larger in size and have a somewhat flashy design.

In addition to modeling, you have recently been working as an actor. What kind of actor do you aspire to be?
I want to become an actor who can play not only serious but also comical characters like Murotsuyoshi.
For example, what kind of movies do you like?
It's "20 Century Women". It's my favorite because the images are beautiful and the fashion of the 70's is fashionable.
Are there any actors that come to mind when you say the word "T-shirt"?
Takashi Sorimachi and Yutaka Takenouchi in the drama "Beach Boys"! I think they look great in T-shirts.
What kind of T-shirts do you usually like?
I often wear just the right size with a stuffy neck. The shape is important to me, so I have never paid attention to the brand.
When do you usually wear sandals?
It's for festivals and camping. It's like saying I want to move light.
What are your favorite points of the T-shirts and sandals you wore this time?
Both are simple and easy to match with anything. The sandals in particular are lightweight, and the cushioning makes it easy to wear them for a bit without getting tired.
