What kind of clothes do you usually choose?
. I don't like to wear very tight clothes. . I tend to choose clothes that are a little loose and comfortable to wear. At this time of the year, I wear mohair knits and shirts from the 1950s and 1960s. . Overall, I think I tend to wear vintage clothes.
Do you often wear light clothing in the winter?
Yes, I do. I don't like to wear too many layers of clothes. I just wear a coat over a knit or a shirt.

Yes, I did! I thought so when I tried it on. Also, it's not pure white, but a bit dull. And it's lightweight. I am planning to go to a BBQ next time, so I will wear it then.
You also selected side gore rubber boots.
I was surprised at how light and soft they are. I like leather shoes and wear them often, but they are heavy. But with these, they look like boots, and I can wear them even on rainy days. They also look easy to care for, and I think I'll wear them even when it's not raining.
You were born in Fukuoka , and played baseball all your life, right?
Yes, that's right. When I played baseball, I always wore a close-cropped shirt. So I didn't have much time to devote to fashion.

Since coming to Tokyo, I have found a favorite vintage clothing shop, and I learn a lot from them because they teach me many things. I also think that clothes show one's personality, so I try to wear what I have chosen myself, rather than relying solely on stylists.
How is your acting career?
I had never acted before, and I was very overwhelmed at first when I was cast in the film. . I was also very shy about acting. Even though I was getting a lot of attention, it was totally different from being on the mound as a pitcher (laughs). (Laughs.) However, I feel that I am still able to do my best because of the frustrations I experienced there. I can approach anything with a "let's do it" spirit. There are still many things I can't do, of course.
Do you have any challenges that you would like to try in the future?
I like works that depict people's daily lives in a realistic manner, so I would like to be able to perform in such works. However, the characters in such works cannot be played unless they can act properly. . So, from now on, I would like to experience various things and improve my skills.
