Grill around with locally produced and consumed foods!
After finishing the athletic activities, we moved to another venue, where we found a large BBQ space with an eye-catching and colorful presentation. Next to a large BBQ grill, similar to those often seen at home parties in the U.S., was an array of vegetables and meat from Nagano Prefecture! Toasting with a toast led by Mr. Doidi, the communication director of BEAMS, everyone grilled and shared their food, recharging their exhausted bodies with energy. When everyone was satisfied in body and soul, the bonfire in the center of the plaza was lighting up the night in a wonderful way.
In the middle of the BBQ, I looked next to me and saw Bigfoot grilling meat! Bigfoot is indeed a big hit with the crowd.
Around the fire, we roasted marshmallows and chatted over drinks as we reflected on the day's events. Then the BBQ is over. Finally, the long awaited special live performance by iri-san. Starting with "Wonderland," he performed a parade of classic songs, including "Night Groove" and "Corner. The audience was very close to Iri, and her energetic and soulful voice got the crowd fired up. I felt more satisfied than full. It was a very luxurious time.
The night is not over yet.
While the excitement was still building after the special live performance by iri, a night bar and a silk-screening booth appeared next to the night bar, where visitors enjoyed making their own drinks while listening to the pleasant background music provided by a DJ. Of course, the silk-screening booth was no different, with a long line of people waiting to try their hand at making their own bandanas from a choice of two different prints. The clock struck 1:00, marking the end of the first day of the event.
The night bar was packed with people waiting in line from start to finish. After toasting with Corona beer, I ended up making a strong highball....
The area in front of the DJ booth was like a club. Many people were dancing.
Bandanas that can only be made and given here. These are actually the things that make me the happiest.
