Koga City in Ibaraki Prefecture is about an hour's drive from central Tokyo. This is where the "Freaks Store" was born and where the main store is still located. I visited the main store on September 12 to see its renewal, and was blown away by the excitement.

The third branch of the popular coffee shop "Café FUJINUMA," which has its main branch in Tochigi, will also open.
Upstairs, "CRASH GATE" furniture made of old wood is available for sale , and it also functions as a relaxing space. Outside the store, there is a coffee stand by "Café FUJINUMA" where you can enjoy specialty coffee roasted in house. . The crossover of genres is already impressive.
On the opening day, there was also a silkscreening workshop by "WESTOVERALLS" led by Tatsumasa Onuki, and an event where visitors could customize a cotton beanie from "A LOVE MOVEMENT" from LA.
The display is rather cluttered, but this is definitely intentional. For example, there are products in a canoe, and small items that you have never seen before are placed in the little crevices. You can enjoy touring the store as if you were on a treasure hunt.
