Case 02
Metal bracelets are enjoyed in a more mixed "off" style.
HOUYHNHNM's: Next, you suggested an off-duty style. The watch was changed to a metal bracelet, and the atmosphere of the coordination changed completely.
Masaaki: I think I wear more casual clothes off the job. I wear denim both on and off the job, but I also tend to wear stadium jackets, vintage mountain parkas, and tops that are easy to move in. My basic style is American casual.
HOUYHNHNM's: But it's not the same as a sense of balance like American casual wear on the high street.
Masaaki: Basically, I prefer a casual style, but I feel uncomfortable if it is too casual. For example, the denim of "Graphpaper" is tucked in, and I don't want to deviate from the casual direction, but I want to find a way to shift things around within the casual style.
Nobuyuki:The inner mock-neck is a bit elegant, and the mix of British or traditional leather shoes is very brotherly, and I think it is a modern coordination, not just American casual.
HOUYHNHNM: I see. That's another sense of mixing.
Masaaki: Yes, I do. . When I wear a jacket off duty, I wear sneakers to balance it out.
HOUYHNHNM's: The last one is Nobuyuki's off-style.
Nobuyuki: Although I share some of the same taste as my brother, I was conscious of mixing things up for the "Off" collection as well. The A-line coat is the main item, so I mixed various tastes, such as a parka by Raf Simons, which is quite short, and flared pants made of beautiful wool, to bring the overall atmosphere together.
HOUYHNHNM: Casual, mode, minimalist, I can feel various elements.
Nobuyuki: The metal bracelet of the "Tissot Gentleman Automatic" gave me a sporty impression, so I paired it with a parka and a skeeshoe.
Masaaki: Both of us value the sense of mixing, but our ways of expression are quite different.
Nobuyuki: We are twins, but I feel that Masaaki's face balance is more casual and he can hold his own. In my case, I have to make him a little more mode-like to hold it....
