Born in 1994. She currently works as a staff clerk at 2G, while also updating her Instagram and creating the sales floor. She got married last year and is expecting a child next spring. This season's recommended item is a collaboration coat made to commemorate Habia Calleja's solo exhibition "NO ART HERE" currently being held at the NANZUKA 2G art gallery in the studio. The character peeks out from the collar and sleeves, creating a humorous piece of clothing.

SIDE-B Scrape up lunch at a standing beer boy!
How did you get into the business?
Uchida:I met Mr. Motoshi "POGGY" Ogi at the company where I worked and admired him. When I heard about the opening of 2G, a studio where Mr. Ogi is the fashion director, in the newly built Shibuya Parco, I thought I would love to work there and joined the company.
What do you find attractive about Ogi from your point of view?
Uchida:His obsession with clothes is on another level. I think he thinks about clothes even while he is sleeping.
So at first I wanted to be like Mr. Ogi, but then I realized that not everyone can be like him, so I began to absorb what I could and hope to express myself in my own way.
I think there are several people in the world who are the ultimate dressmaker, and for me, he is one of them.
Your awareness of Mr. Ogi is amazing!
The menu was renewed on the occasion of the first anniversary. Although there was no chashu-don, Uchida-san's recommendation, the newly added curry is moderately spicy and sinks into your tired body.
Where do you often go when you are on a break?
Uchida:It's a "standing beer boy". I always order a bowl of chashu pork and take out ginger ale.
Since I basically stand up in the store, these chairs are a brief respite. Moreover, the chairs are exquisitely recessed and so comfortable that I could sit on them for the rest of my life.
This one was originally used as a beer keg. They say it fits surprisingly well and is well received by customers.
Do you come here at night for a drink?
Uchida:I've been wanting to come here for a long time, but the timing hasn't been right yet...I'll definitely come next time! After leaving work, I sometimes stop by a nearby convenience store with my seniors to take a break. We talk about the store all the time. Incidentally, we promised to go see the movie "Blade of the Demon" together and went to TOHO Cinemas in Shibuya after work. I am looking forward to doing that.
Shibuya PARCO recently celebrated its first anniversary. What are your honest impressions?
Uchida:Anyway, it was a very busy time, and it all happened so fast. At first we were so busy that we weren't sure if we were delivering what we wanted to express to our customers, but we are clearing things up bit by bit, and the store is taking shape. I think we are finally able to provide what people want and what they are looking for. I am most looking forward to the time when the situation settles down and tourists return.
It will soon be the Christmas season. Where would you recommend buying gifts?
Uchida:I bought some swag from "THE LITTLE BAR OF FLOWERS BAR" for my wife recently and she was happy with it, so I recommend that. It's a small thing, but I think that kind of thing is good.
