What kind of music did you choose?

LEO: 1.FLY AWAY/WALKING IN THE SUNSHINE -LAID BACK
A mood that symbolizes this year. I want to listen to it at the beginning of winter. It makes me cry no matter what time of day I hear it. Lovely lyrics. Great song.

2.DROP ME LINE -MIDNIGHT MAGIC
DJ HARVEY mood. I can't wait to see HARVEY.

3.CRUEL SUMMER -BANANARAMA
One summer, I heard it on the radio in my car and thought it was the latest song, so I looked it up and found it was a dance classic. Times are turning.

4.what you don't know - jackson 5
My favorite Michael song. You have helped me this year.

5.SUPERNATAURE (INSTRUMENTAL CLIMAX EDIT) -CERRONE
This song was used in "CLIMAX" by my favorite film director, Gaspar Noe. I listen to it often because I can't forget the chaos and beauty.

6.GRAVITY -ADRIAN YOUNG.ALI SHAHEED.ROY AYERS
I would like to make this kind of music, and I would like to play with ROY AYERS in music. It is one of my dreams.

7.TURIYA & REMAKISHNA -ALICE COLTRANE
One song from Coltrane's daughter's work. This is music! It is full of sound and passion.

What everyone needs now REAL LOVE.

9. ACROSS THE 110TH STREET -BOBBY WOMACK
I was asked to write a song called "Lost in Paradise" for the ED of "Jutsu Kaisen", which was my major debut, and I had this song in mind at the time. I think it is one of the best music used in the ED of the movie. Long live Tarantino.

WITH YOUR LOVE. WITH YOUR KISS - JOHNNY POWERS
For my last song, I would like to send you all as much love and kisses as I can. This song was taught to me by KEB DARGE, the DJ I respect the most. I can't wait to see KEB as well.

What did you feel through this year's activities?

LEO: I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in "the first take fes", to make my major debut with "Lost in Paradise feat AKLO", and to be able to perform music under such circumstances with the help of many guest performers and staff members.

I think it is a time when many values are turned upside down, people reevaluate what they value, and join hands with each other. I say to them.

What was the most interesting music news this year?

LEO: Bill Withers (Bill Withers) has passed away.

Who are the artists to watch in 2021?

LEO: Snoop Dogg. It's my dream to write songs together, I wish I could make it happen.

What are your ambitions for the coming year?

LEO: "LOVE. MUSIC AND DANCE". we would like to convey the beauty of music with this slogan that ALI (ALI) holds dear. I want to make many dreams come true and see wonderful scenery with everyone. We will make and release a lot of music, so please support us this year as well! Long live the music!

What are your plans for the future?

LEO: ALI's new EP "LOVE, MUSIC AND DANCE" will be released on Wednesday, January 27. And on February 5 (Fri.), the release party "LOVE, MUSIC AND DANCE 2021will be held at "Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO". It will be a miraculous party, so please come and play.

Vocalist and leader of ALI, a 7-piece multinational band from Shibuya formed in 2016. Each band member has multinational roots from Japan, Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. Their music features a crossover of various genres such as funk, soul, jazz, Latin, and hip-hop, etc. Their first major mini album "LOVE, MUSIC AND DANCE" is scheduled to be released on January 27, 2021 (Wednesday) from "Sony Music Records".
