〜Songs heard in ~2020

Kobayashi: The first six songs are the ones I listened to most often while on the move this year. . I listened to these songs especially when I was pushing through the city at night. Compared to previous years, I had more opportunities to travel in cities with fewer people, and I think I often listened to relaxing songs reflecting such a mood.

. The last four songs are songs that I used to play in videos I used to watch when I first started skating. This year, with the release of the full-length of "Diaspora skateboards," I went back to the parts that influenced me when I was genuinely into skating many times. In this context, I chose a soul / funk song that was used in a part that I was reluctant to select when I was around high school age , and I thought it was a good choice.

Kobayashi: As someone involved in music videos, I was personally struck by the change in the relationship between listeners and music videos. Although the amount of time spent watching videos has increased due to the increase in time spent at home, I feel that the amount of time spent watching music videos has decreased because the amount of other content has also increased considerably. It's a feeling I have skin in the game. .

Even in the midst of all this, there were many great music videos being released, and it was amazing to see them being viewed so well. I was inspired and entertained by the works being uploaded daily.

Kobayashi: In early 2021, Diaspora skateboards will be releasing a full-length video entitled "SYMBIOSIS". It has been a year since the video was released, but we will also be releasing a CD/streaming of the video, which will feature instrumental background music by various artists used in the video, along with raps by rappers who are close friends of ours.
