A VIRGIN:Nice to meet you . . I am a musician. I have recently started my solo activities.
A VIRGIN's latest album, A VIRGIN, was released in September 2020 .
Kato:What kind of band were you originally in?
A VIRGIN:The band is called TADZIO. Probably only about five people in Japan know of them (laughs).
How did you meet Mr. Okutomi and Mr. Kato?
Okutomi:Was it, I think, the 2015 Fuji Rock?
Kato:That's right. We started seeing each other frequently, and last year we were invited to an event, and I even asked him to dress up for a music video.
A VIRGIN:Fuji Rock was 10 years ago when I played there . I went to Fuji Rock 10 years ago with "ROOKIE A GO GO. . I have nothing but memories of crying. There were so many people on the mountain, and there were many roads that rookies couldn't take, so it was hard and I cried the whole time.
All:(Laughter).
A VIRGIN and Mr. Okutomi?
A VIRGIN:At first I thought it was a takoyaki restaurant (laughs). I went to an event where my friend was a DJ, and he was grilling takoyaki there. I heard that they had a vintage clothing store, so I started going to the store to buy costumes and stuff.
Okutomi:We had been seeing each other a little bit before, but it was during Corona that we rapidly became friends.
A VIRGIN:When I was drinking at ZOOM with Kosuke Kawamura and his friends, someone asked me if I would like to add a new character to the group. From there, we suddenly became good friends. We got to know each other so well that we lost our way, had a big fight once, and made up (laughs).
Okutomi:Yes, yes (laughs) . I think we've met about 6 times already this year, right?
The three of us ordered gyoza (¥500), vegan fried tofu (¥600), meat miso bean sprouts (¥600), cucumber with leek ginger (600), and salted rice balls (¥450) at ...... on this day. Appetizing visuals and mouth-watering!
