Born in Fresno, California. After moving to New York, he worked as a men's designer for Ralph Lauren. He opened "Palmer Trading," a store specializing in vintage clothing, and developed his original brand "Palmer Trading Company," which includes collaboration lines with "Dickies," etc. He started "Willie Chavarria" in the 2016 SS and is currently showing his collection at the New York Collections. In February 2021, he was named director of Calvin Klein's global men's apparel team.

I always enjoy your stories about your childhood, how to got promoted from product manager to a designer when you ware at Ralph Lauren, and your family and friends cause it makes me understand your hungriness and sophisticated personality.
When I first met him , he was macho in Palmer Dickies shirt and pants, teardrops, and bright tattoos. He's a hell of a guy! . was my first impression.

Then we went to New York and drank and sang and did things that I can't write about here, being attracted to each other (?). We had a good time.
We spent such a fun time drinking and singing together in N.Y. , also doing stuff that I am not going to write here, and we were both attracted (I hope! ) while doing that.

WISM has been purchasing and making special orders for WILLY CHAVARRIA , and WILLY CHAVAWISM.
We have been purchasing WILLY CHAVARRIA, making special orders, doing WILLY CHAVAWISM.
We also held a POP UP that recreated the rip-off bar we went to together in New York.
We also reproduct that bar we went in NY as a POP UP store.
THE SEED BY WILLY CHAVARRIA is the time we fought and shared together. It is a new stage, created by accumulating values and meanings.
This "THE SEED BY WILLY CHAVARRIA" is a new stage that proves we fought together, spent time together so it is precious.
Our stage is not about "sense" or "momentum," but about the time we have spent together, which is the most enjoyable thing, and something that cannot be tackled by a brand or store built up yesterday or today. We want to enjoy this new stage.
