Born in 1998 in Toyama Prefecture. He works at "Mr. Clean," a vintage store that is well-known for its "Vintage Summit. Of course, he loves vintage clothes, but he loves curry just as much. Although it is hard to imagine from his striking green hair, which he dyed the day before the interview, he actually used to work as a nurse.

Please start by telling us what kind of image you have of "Converse.
Everyone has a pair and they go with any outfit, and I think they are such a must-have item that there is no one working in the vintage clothing industry who does not own a pair of "All Stars.
Mr. Tanaka is wearing a new color of the "All Star US," an update of the archived "Red Pacific" model released in the 1980s.
I was looking forward to actually picking up a pair, and they are quite nice. I myself love the 80's All-Stars and buy them whenever I find them, but I was surprised at the high level of detail in the reproduction, such as the reinforcing tape on the heel, the color of the ankle patches, and the notches that were left out on purpose!
You combined the All Star with vintage clothes this time. What are the key points in styling the All Star?
The most striking feature of this model is the classic and tropical patterned upper. The coloring was great, so I chose a darker denim to match. I also kept the length of the bottoms a little short so that I could enjoy the clean silhouette that is the charm of high cut shoes. Also, when I wear "All Star" shoes, I always pay attention to the size selection. My actual size is about 5 1/2, but I like to wear them with the laces tightened up, so I sometimes choose two sizes larger.
What other items would you suggest to match it with?
Since these sneakers have an all-over pattern that makes a big impact, I think the right thing to do is to keep the other items as simple as possible. For example, plain white T-shirts or tank tops would go well with herringbone pants. It goes without saying that vintage clothing goes well with this look. I think the fun of vintage clothing lies in the fact that you can find items that others don't have, and you can freely wear them in your own way. By the way, if you were to wear these sneakers, what kind of situations would suit you?
I think they would look great outdoors in the coming season. When I go back to my hometown, I often bring food to a bonfire with my friends, and I would like to wear them on such an exciting occasion. Canvas All Star shoes can be washed if they get dirty, and I think they will have a real vintage look. If I wore them in a store, customers might think they are vintage (laugh).
