Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan in 1980 . Talkboxer/DJ/Producer, joined the music group Pan Pacific Playa (PPP) in 2005, and formed the twin talkbox duo LUVRAW & BTB with BTB, releasing two albums before going on hiatus. . In addition to participating in the works of Ichiju Sanjuichi, G.RINA, Satou Moka, MARIA, and others, he has also released works under his own name overseas.

. First of all, please tell us about your relationship with AUTO MOAI.
Tsuruoka: I asked him to do an illustration for the jacket of one of my works once, but I actually knew him before that, and I don't remember when we met. I feel like we are party friends who meet at clubs and such, and we are always tongue-tied when we meet (laughs), so I would like to have a long talk with him someday.
What was the jacket for your work like?
Tsuruoka: I decided on a very good watercolor-like draft, different from the style of my paintings and books , so I decided to go for it. Is this AUTO MOAI's work? .
This shirt, on the other hand, is designed in the typical AUTO MOAI style.
Tsuruoka: It is a great honor that you ordered me to wear it. There is a part of me that is embarrassed to wear clothes of someone I know (laughs). I really like aloha shirts, but AUTO MOAI's illustrations are so cute that I was worried whether they would look good on me (laughs). . but it is still very nice. The other white shirt might be too cute, so for me, the gray is just right. It looks good as a costume.
I was wondering if you design the artwork for the soundtracks that you upload on Bandcamp and on your Instagram.
Tsuruoka: Graphics and video are also done by myself . It has been a long time since I asked someone else to do it for me. When I do everything myself, I can do it in a flash, so it's quick and easy. I always think about how I can finish the work on the spot, how I can finish it in one breath (laughs).
You are inspired by comic books and movies, are you a fan of them?
Tsuruoka: I like it rather well. That one was about 4 years ago, when I hadn't gotten a TV in a long time and had only watched movies every day for 2 years. I would watch a movie and if I saw a good scene, I would try to write a song to go with it. Because I am slow, bored, and inactive in everything I do (laughs), I did it as if it were a task I gave to myself.
What kind of music do you listen to these days?
Tsuruoka: Techno, dub, reggae, and hardcore . I listen to basically extremes from mellow to hard. Lately, I tend to listen to newer music.
You said you were bored, but were you never bored of making music?
Tsuruoka: No, I give up, I'm bored, I'm not talented, and I often think ...... (laughs). Motivation just barely seems to come to me . Basically, I get depressed, but , I've learned how to raise it, or rather, I've learned some habits. There are musicians who are dynamic, who write their own songs, who are physically strong, who make announcements, and who are like athletes, which is great, but I can't really do that. I am not so good at it. I think the color of my work is probably different from that of such people.
