Footsteps of summer.
Summer is the best season for me, as I love the hot season anyway, but it seems that various leisure activities will be restricted this summer as well. In the midst of all this, I received news that the swimming pool at Oiso Long Beach will be open this year! I am so happy! I think it might be a good idea to stay at a hotel and enjoy the pool.

It is too late for me to say this, but recently I have finally become interested in tableware. I wonder to myself why I did not go there before, but at any rate, it is finally happening. I know that there are many wonderful artists, but I want to select pieces based on my intuition, not on their names. As a first-year ceramic artist, this curry dish really caught my attention. It was originally made by Hasamiyaki Nakazen and supervised by architect Ai Yoshida, and I fell in love with its matte texture and gently rounded form at first sight. Although it is named a curry dish, it can be used in any way you like.

I went to the running section of the store and looked around the lineup of shoes and found a strange model that I had never seen before. The color scheme was based on the gray that symbolizes "New Balance," and the sophisticated appearance was reminiscent of a high-numbered shoe. Moreover, the midsole is made of foam with excellent repulsive elasticity, and a carbon plate is also included. It looks beautiful and has many functions. I tried them on and found that they had a luxurious fit that enveloped my feet. They were so comfortable that I tried to put them on and check out the store, but the price was a premium. I couldn't turn back, so I bought them, although I was hesitant about the price. Since then, I have been using this model called "Lerato" for many occasions. A friend of mine told me about an Instagram account called "CITY COUNTRY CITY". As of this writing, I have only 22 followers. However, a look at his followers reveals that they are, for some reason, all members of the apparel industry. The contents of their posts are also outlandish, ranging from a famous physicist to a cover photo of a leading Japanese techno-pop unit to a British breakfast, all of which are just plain strange. I visited the Tokyo Garden Theater for the first time for a Nulbarich concert, and it was a great venue, with good acoustics despite its size (8,000 seats) and interesting four-tier seating configuration. There are not many halls of this size in Tokyo, so I guess it will be very useful in the future. Oh, and the live performance was also a lot of fun! The guest performers were gorgeous, and it was a luxurious time!

There are a few words that are not my favorite when it comes to writing captions for items, one of which is "unique. One of them is "one and only," which, if you look up its meaning on Yahoo, comes up as "only one and only one. It's a commonly used word, and there's nothing wrong with the meaning, but it makes me wonder if it really is "one and only. Is there anything else like it, or is it really worthy of the word? I don't want to use "one and only" so easily. But of course, there are exceptions. One of them is "Capital. Everything is completely original, from the brand's worldview to the clothes it produces, the store's interior, and even the staff who work there. There is no other brand that fits the term "one and only" so well. These shorts are just such a case. They are easy shorts with a belt at the waist, but they are hunting shorts with three flap pockets on each side. They have an extraordinary appearance. Have you ever seen such a design anywhere else? I started bass fishing this spring. There are many reasons why I started fishing, such as the desire to have a chance to get in touch with nature and the pleasant personalities of anglers, but I was also attracted by the adorable appearance of lures. Among them, I fell in love with the handmade lure "Chimushi," which I came across during a fishing report! The warm shape of the lure, which is made by cutting wood, and the painted surface, which is done by hand and painted carefully one by one, make the lure look like an art figure. I was so captivated by their appearance that I bought several of them even though I had not even started fishing yet. The photo shows the first plastic duck-shaped lure (left) and two handmade wood lures (right), both of which are made by "Lover's Mushi. Of course, since they are lures, the important thing is whether or not they catch fish, but according to the fishermen around me, "Lover's Mushi can catch fish. While enjoying the pleasure of collecting them, I am thinking of catching a black bass with these lures someday.

We also visited "FUJI & SUN '21" to cover GOMA. It was very satisfying to be exposed to live sound in nature for the first time in a while. The other day, my wife and I went to Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Futakotama. From the moment we entered the store, we were immediately drawn to all the petit Scandinavian goods on display. As I was going through the maze of items in the store, I noticed this rug. It was colorful, cute, and just what I was looking for to replace my bathroom mat! I reached for it and was surprised to see that it was only 660 yen. What a steal at 660 yen! It was a convenient size of 60 x 90 cm and was made of recycled materials with a firm thickness. I bought other sundries that day, but this is definitely my personal number one item. Flying Tiger Copenhagen" is a real force to be reckoned with.
