What do those parents and children wear at Gap? Part 1

Gap was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a denim and record store. Since then, Gap has grown into a national brand in the U.S. and has been updated based on American traditions, despite the emergence of many easily accessible brands. The growing popularity of the old Gap in the vintage clothing market is proof that the brand is adapting to the times. The Gap is the new hot right now. We asked 15 pairs of hip parents and their children to wear the best items for fall and winter, and took snapshots. In the first part, seven pairs appear. What do you think of the Gap?

What do you usually look for when choosing clothes?

Tadasu:I really don't have a lot of clothes and my wardrobe is mostly set. It's either denim and a tank top or denim and a V-neck. That is my base for fall as well.

Lila:I have a lot of brands that I am inevitably indebted to because of my work. Also, my parents gave me some of their hand-me-downs.

Are you familiar with the Gap?

Tadasu:You have been wearing it since you were a little girl.

Lila:Hey. I was wearing it too.

Tadasu:It's a path you definitely took when you were a child. Now, I was deeply moved by the idea of choosing children's clothes from "Gap".

What did you think of the items when you actually saw them in the store?

Tadasu:Personally, I like basic things, so I was interested in many of the Gap's clothes. Also, I was reminded once again that the brand has never wavered at all since long ago and is a constant brand.

Lila:My image of "Gap" was primary colors, but there were many light and gentle colors, which surprised me in a good way.

Tadasu:I don't usually wear colored clothes, but I liked the blue of this top. The silhouette is also nice.

Lila:I took up the challenge this time. It was an opportunity like this.

How do you always decide what to wear for your children?

Lila:I often receive gifts. When I do buy, I tend to use brands that are readily available.

Tadasu:I have an older sister, and she gave me her hand-me-downs.

Lila:I'm not sure if that's a good thing. But Gap has a wide variety of children's clothing, which is a big help.

I'm asking everyone about their parenting theory, if they have one.

Tadasu:I don't want to limit the freedom of children because of adults. I want to be prepared to let them do what they want to do when they want to do it. (To Lila) My parenting theory is probably not very good, so what do you have to say? (Laughter)

Lila:(laughs). (laughs) But I want to take them to various places and have them meet various people. I am not able to do this at Corona now, but I want them to experience the values of various people, not just spend time with family members.
