What do those parents and children wear at Gap? Part 1

Gap was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a denim and record store. Since then, Gap has grown into a national brand in the U.S. and has been updated based on American traditions, despite the emergence of many easily accessible brands. The growing popularity of the old Gap in the vintage clothing market is proof that the brand is adapting to the times. The Gap is the new hot right now. We asked 15 pairs of hip parents and their children to wear the best items for fall and winter, and took snapshots. In the first part, seven pairs appear. What do you think of the Gap?

HOUYHNHNM's blogger, KAISE-san currently runs his own apparel brand and a brand of dried bonito flakes in Chigasaki. He is also a big fan of the Chunichi Dragons. Ippei is now 4 years old.

What do you usually wear?

Ryo:The basics should be easy and clean. We play outside a lot.

You chose skinny jeans this time, but I don't really have that image of you, do I?

Ryo:It's been a long time since I've worn these. But these are so easy to move around in. I didn't realize how easy it was. I thought, "I can totally wear these.

What is your impression of the Gap?

Ryo:I think the brand first made its full-scale landing when I was about 20 years old, but until then, it was the kind of brand that someone would buy for you when they went to the United States. It was simply cool.

How do you feel about the parka?

Ryo:They are fluffy, warm, and maybe great for fall. Also, although I didn't choose it this time, a tie-dye parka would have been cool. And even though the price is affordable, it doesn't feel cheap. I felt like I reconfirmed the appeal of Gap.

Ippei's clothes also look good on him.

Ryo:They are actually girls' pants, but they are loose-fitting. (To Ippei) Your clothes look cool.

(Ippei running off)

(laughs). Does your wife choose Ippei's clothes?

Ryo:Yes, that's right. I always make him wear Viciedo (a Chunichi Dragons player) T-shirts (laughs).

Ma'am:Normally, if the clothes are not comfortable, he will not wear them, but this time they were so comfortable that he took the initiative to wear them when he tried them on.

Lastly, I'm sorry to be so serious, but I've been listening to your theories on child rearing.

Ryo:I hope he will be a kind and cheerful person, putting aside his studies and so on. But it would be better to ask my wife about that.

Ma'am:But it's the same for me. If only you could live spontaneously and in your own way.
