What do those parents and children wear at Gap? Part 1

Gap was founded in San Francisco in 1969 as a denim and record store. Since then, Gap has grown into a national brand in the U.S. and has been updated based on American traditions, despite the emergence of many easily accessible brands. The growing popularity of the old Gap in the vintage clothing market is proof that the brand is adapting to the times. The Gap is the new hot right now. We asked 15 pairs of hip parents and their children to wear the best items for fall and winter, and took snapshots. In the first part, seven pairs appear. What do you think of the Gap?

What kind of clothes do you usually wear?

Shintaro:After the birth of my child, I began to think more about ease of movement, ease of washing, and TPO.

Gorgeous poem:I basically like simple things, so I try to keep a traditional, classic feel as a base, but add one thing somewhere that doesn't feel childish.

Do your fashion styles change when you have children?

Shintaro:Yes, I do. But I try not to go too far in that direction.

What is your impression of the Gap?

Shintaro:It is still American basic and casual. The visuals of the past are also impressive. It has a close relationship with music, I guess. Also, there are many things that can be worn for a long time, and I have always had a good impression of them.

What do you think of the items you had us wear this time?

Shintaro:I thought that from this season, the size fit and fabrics have evolved even further to have a period feel. It's like an air of the old Gap. The logo has become more classic. Also, the body width is wider, and the hoods stand up nicely.

Gorgeous poem:Mine have a great feel and the denim silhouette is really beautiful. To be honest, I don't usually wear denim, but with this softness and stretchiness, I thought I would like to wear it in the future. The sweatshirt has a nice brushed lining that feels good against the skin, and I like the detailing with the "Gap" written on it in detail.

Your children's clothes are adorable.

Shintaro:My son is a setup. The pitch is nice and thick. But actually, I usually let him wear Gap clothes. It's easy to buy and cute.

Gorgeous poem:Also, there is a wide variety of products, so it is hard for me to look like other people. I send my children to daycare, and I don't want them to wear the same clothes if possible, so I'm happy about that too.

Lastly, I was wondering if you could tell me about your theory on child rearing.

Gorgeous poem:I hope they are kind to others, cheerful, and energetic. I would also be happy if they could set their own goals.

I just think that if I grow up watching the two of you, I'm going to love fashion.

Shintaro:Or go the exact opposite (laughs). Well, I hope they find something they like. I want to prepare them for that, and create a situation where they can be exposed to a lot of things.
