The first sweatshirt I had you wear was a reissue of the first Reverse Weave ®︎ sweatshirt.
I had only seen pictures of it and wondered what it looked like. I was curious about it. When I finally picked it up, I found that the details on both V's and the runner's tag were faithfully reproduced, and the oatmeal-like color is quite nice. The item exceeded my imagination. I think vintage lovers will also like this dress.
The originals are too expensive and are rarely on the market to begin with.
No - I really don't. Then I think it would be attractive to continue to wear this one that has been reprinted and add value to it myself.
How do you like the silhouette?
I also like the fact that the shoulders are seamless because it is made from a single piece of fabric. Even if you wear it in a larger size, it doesn't have drop shoulders, so you can wear it naturally, and I think you can tell that I dared to choose that size. Even when layered, it didn't lean around the shoulders and was easy to match with innerwear. That's why I layered a shirt over it today.
Is that shirt a little big too?
The silhouette is long in length. I chose a size L sweatshirt, so I made the shirt to match that length.
The ribbed hem is folded inward.
I folded the shirt in to make it a little longer. I liked that the ribbing was cinched so it stayed where I wanted it.
What else do you wear?
Since the sweatshirt was a large size (L), I tried to match it with something a little more relaxed, while choosing slacks-like pants that were not too dowdy. But the color of the sweatshirt was elegant and easy to match with any pants. Both gold and silver accessories go well with it. I think this is a versatile sweatshirt that will be cute no matter what you wear with it.
When was the first time you wore Reverse Weave ®︎?
I think it was a reverse weave ®︎ from the 90's that was given to me by my father. It was about 5-6 years ago.
What did you think when you tried on Reverse Weave ®︎ for the first time?
I have the impression that it is a solid fabric. I later found out that I like the way the texture changes over time, becoming my own unique taste. I would like to make this sweatshirt my own.
