Fashion and sports. Where do they meet?

With the evolution of technology, the boundary between sportswear and fashion items has become blurred in recent years. On the other hand, the value of sportswear as an object is fundamentally different from that of fashion, which is designed to add color to everyday life, and sportswear, which is developed to achieve a clear objective. Hoka Oneone's trail running shoes are extremely comfortable and I feel secure wearing them in the mountains. I myself use them for running and trail running. What is the aim of carrying this brand's shoes in select stores such as Journal Standard and Reshop?

Matsuo:We have been carrying Hoka Oneone shoes at JOURNAL STANDARD for about four years. The reason why we started carrying Hoka Oneone, which is a full-fledged running shoe brand, is because I wanted to wear them myself. I'm only half joking (laughs), but I'm half serious. I myself have been paying attention to Hoka Oneone for a long time and have been using it for running, so I wanted to share with customers what I have actually worn and thought was really good.

Kaneko:Hoka Oneone is my favorite brand, too. When I run, I can say that Hoka Oneone is my only choice. They are gentle on my feet and go well with my running style. I use them not only for running, but also for everyday wear. I like to wear them with unique colors rather than a chic color scheme. The colors in this new collection are also very nice. The earthy colors are the base, but the neon colors and blue in some places are effective. I think they can be coordinated with a variety of outfits, and I think they have a highly fashionable design that makes them worth carrying at "Reshop. And of course, they can run if they want to. This is another important point.
