New Denim Collection by DieselDiesel Libraryis dedicated to the themes of sustainability and a genderless approach. The clothes are made with the future in mind, with an awareness of designs that are not influenced by trends, while also paying attention to the production background, such as minimizing environmental impact. In order to convey the appeal of these clothes, we have appointed 20 creators who will lead the new era. In conjunction with "Girl Huinamu," 10 pairs of styles are introduced in each of the first and second parts of the magazine. The second part of the series will also feature a number of unique individuals.

How did you feel when you tried on the "Diesel Library" clothes?

YAMATO:The 90s-inspired design is cute.

What kind of clothes do you like?

YAMATO:I like pop clothes. That's why I really like the "Diesel Library. I have a lot of opportunities to wear Diesel's clothes. I get the impression that they are good denim. The designs are outstanding, and the colors are great. My father and mother used to wear them a lot, and I started wearing them too before I knew it. My friends would say to me, "Hey, that's Diesel" and I would notice (laughs).

Do you have any interest in the SDGs?

YAMATO:I am conscious of "my sustainability. For example, I think that taking good care of accessories given to me by my parents or buying and wearing second-hand clothes is one way to be sustainable. I am doing these things in my own way. If you try to do many things at once, your footwork will suddenly become too heavy and you won't be able to do anything, so I think it is important to steadily do what you can do.

Finally, please tell us what you would like to do in the future.

YAMATO:I want to make people happy all over the world, and that is my big dream. In this age when we can connect with so many people through SNS, I would like to continue to post positive messages that heal, encourage, and cheer people up. I want to make many people happy.
