Asano:I usually decide on shoes first, and today I decided on one tone of white to match the color of "NIZZA". . Since it is a light color, it could also be used to add a hint of a jacket style.
As a lover of both fashion and sports, what kind of image do you have of "adidas"?
Asano:. As with running shoes, I think the performance is solid. Because of their "sports" background, many of their lifestyle sneakers are easy to walk in.
Do you remember your first "adidas"?
Asano:I was really close to them from a very young age, so I don't remember which shoes I debuted in (laughs). As I mentioned earlier, my older brother and younger brother both played soccer, so there was always an "Adidas" at the entrance of our house.
What do you think of the sneakers from the collaboration between "adidas Originals" and "Parley" , and how do you feel about wearing them?
Asano:They are very nice. I don't like high-cut shoes because of their hardness, but these are soft and easy to wear. Also, the curve in the arch of the foot is very comfortable. The all-white model is cute, but I personally prefer the beige sole and laces.
I would like to ask you about your model in collaboration with a marine conservation organization.
Asano:Being in the modeling world, I have been hearing the keywords "organic" and "ethical" for a long time, and I am still concerned about them. . So I started by learning about the issues, and I am taking action where I can. . I try to reduce garbage, and basically I don't buy plastic bottles. Even for our bento boxes, we try to avoid using plastic as much as possible. . Some items are individually packaged, so it's difficult to do it all.
What was the major catalyst for your environmental awareness?
Asano:I think it's because my awareness of my body has changed since I started running, and since I started working in the food industry, I have started to pay attention to the safety and security of food. I also have an online store called "ME LIKE," where I sell seasonings and other goods that are related to sustainability. . There are only a few items, but I hope that I can help build a bridge to the future, even if only a little.

Asano:. actually, I was not aware of the "parlay" initiative. . So I was surprised to learn that "Nizza" is made of recycled materials. Nowadays, many people are becoming more environmentally conscious, and I think the criteria for choosing things are changing. Fashion alone is not good enough, nor is being sustainable alone. I feel that there should be a good balance between the two. I think it is very meaningful that the influential brand "adidas" offers such a choice.
