I am always compelled to buy a book when I find one that I like, even if I am short of money or have a stack of books to read, but I bought a bunch of them at the end of the month.Japanese Light Versewas a totally painful expense. However, an anthology of poems in four volumes, each volume with a different editor and illustrator, is definitely a good buy. In particular, I couldn't help but pick up the first volume, titled "List of Items on Display in the Luncheon" and illustrated by Nagashinta, which is in the style of Hoshi Shinichi. Another deciding factor was the fact that Makoto Wada did the book cover art for the third volume. The book is small and easy to carry, and since it is a poetry collection, it is nice to be able to open any page you like on a moment's notice. As you would expect from COW BOOKS, there are a lot of good books here. The introduction is also very good, so please read it. The poets serve the taste of the universe with a delicious spoon on a plate... A selection of masterpieces of poetry with a light heart, plain language, and difficult illustrations.
