The fashion industry is being questioned about its corporate attitude toward environmental issues, which are getting worse by the minute. Among these, have you heard of the Turkish brand "BOHONOMAD" that is making sustainable efforts based on the SDGs? The brand's rope sandals, which have become synonymous with the brand and are produced in its home country, use only recyclable materials and natural raw materials, actively create jobs for women, and are attracting attention not only for their stylish design but also for other reasons. As if in resonance with the brand, six creators who are working toward the future presented style samples. Born in 1993 in Saitama, Japan, he released his debut album on "OILWORKS Rec." in 2013 and has since released numerous beat tapes and joint works with artists from various fields on labels in Japan and abroad. He is also known as a live DJ for jjj, and as a producer, he has provided music for ISSUGI, KID FRESINO, Nariaki Obukuro, and others, and has worked on a wide range of film projects. In recent years, he has been based in Tokyo and Shizuoka, working energetically at his own pace.

Aru-2:I like the color, but I found the design of the rope on the sandals to be erotic. And yet, they go with any outfit and are very versatile.

What kind of occasions would you like to use such basic sandals for?

Aru-2:. I felt that they would come in handy in everyday situations, such as when doing laundry on the balcony or taking out the trash. . Since I'm going to be wearing them in town this year, I'd like to wear them in the city as well.

Aru-2, we often sense your unique sense of beauty in your own music and activities, etc. Do you have any deciding factors when choosing fashion items such as sandals?

Aru-2:. intuition. . I want to choose what I am unconsciously attracted to without being conscious of it. I am sure that is what I am looking for, and I think it is close to my pure sense of value.

Aru-2, do you feel any empathy for "boho-nomad" this time?

Aru-2:There are many things I can relate to, and beyond the fact that I have thoughts about the environment and other social issues, I felt that people today are using their eyes too much these days. I wish people would use their entire body's senses, such as hearing, smell, and taste, to experience the world and be more moved by it, instead of relying solely on visual information.
