The secret riverbank is a 20-minute drive from my home. What do you do here?
Cleanliness:I make a cup of coffee, build a fire, think for an hour or two, and then go home. . if I have an hour to spare, I'll come here.
Cleanliness:Also, in Tokyo, trains come at a certain time, sounds come at a certain time, and everything moves according to human-made numbers, but in nature, there is no such constant. The sound of dripping water is always changing, as is the flow of the river and the chirping of birds. The crackling of a campfire. I love the time I spend just listening to these rhythms.

Cleanliness:No doubt about that. My stress relief is exercise and being in nature. Also, I have not been able to go to a waterfall yet this year, but I sometimes go to a waterfall. There is a waterfall near here that Shugendo practitioners come to, and I like the time I spend there to become "nothing. After a typhoon, the water pressure is so strong that I almost break my neck, no joke (laughs).
You are a climber, a guide, and have many hobbies, but what do you enjoy doing the most?
Cleanliness:I used to choose alpine climbing as my only choice, but mountaineering is nice in the summer, climbing is great in the fall, and I still want to devote myself to snowboarding in the winter. . I enjoy doing the sports I can do at the time and the mountain games I can do at that time of the year.
I have also been planning some events recently, such as a retreat tour that combined hiking, sauna whisking, bodywork, and animal flow (exercises that incorporate the movements of animals). . I also like the time I spend with my clients experiencing nature at its best. . By the way, 90% of our guests are from Tokyo.
You are also involved in activities to broaden the base of outdoor activities, aren't you?
Cleanliness:I want to increase the opportunities for children to experience the outdoors. Like me, the desire to go outdoors does not come out of the blue. I think it comes from fragments of our memories from when we were young.
. Actually, we are currently offering climbing courses four times each season, but they are always full and there are children who cannot attend. We want to give these children equal opportunities, so we are planning to create a non-profit organization.
Also, when I looked at the classroom, I was astonished at the lack of athleticism among today's children. In the past, it was the boys who stood at the top of the athletic gyms, and it was the boys who did the dangerous things, but nowadays, the girls are more capable. It is an exaggeration to say that I want to eliminate this problem, but I want to give everyone an equal opportunity.
You are wearing NIKE ACG clothes this time. How do you feel about the comfort of the clothes?
Cleanliness:ACG's pants and jackets have lots of zippers. That is important to me. There are surprisingly few items like this. Also, I like the design of all ACG items.
When we first started mountaineering, we bought some used ones. Some of my seniors were sponsored by them, and I admired them a bit. It has a classic look and a good balance of function and design. In outdoor wear, function is the first priority in design, but ACG doesn't compromise on either.
I felt that you truly enjoy and love nature with all your heart.
Cleanliness:Of course I love it, but in other words, I am dependent on it. Without the mountains, I wouldn't know where I was going, I wouldn't know what time it was, and I wouldn't be able to keep my body and mind in shape (laughs).
