Have you always liked clothes?
Kyonosuke:Well, recently, or rather, before I entered high school, I started liking, or rather, paying attention to them. . Lately, I like denim pants, and I tend to wear oversized overall. . I also wear beanies and caps.
Do you often ski in denim?
Kyonosuke:. It's not at all unusual. There are quite a few people who ski in half pants like this. Everyone wears what they like.
These half pants from "G-SHOCK" are woven with Cordura nylon, making them highly durable.
Kyonosuke:For skaters, it is nice to know that they are tough and tear-resistant even if they fall down. The belt loop in the back often gets ripped, but I think it is because I crouch down when I land on stairs or from a high place, and that is where the load is placed. So, I am glad that it is strong.
T-shirts and hats are both made of Cordura nylon. What do you think of the total design?
Kyonosuke:It's not designed specifically for skateboarding, so it looks easy to wear for everyone, skaters and non-skaters alike. In terms of skaters, my everyday clothes and skateboarding clothes are the same, so although the fabric is strong, I think this kind of casual design is just right.
I would like to ask a little more about communication between skaters. From an outsider's point of view, skaters get along really well with each other and seem to be friends when they skate together.
Kyonosuke:I think you may be right. There are a lot of good skaters, aren't there? What can I say, they are really free people, and because of that, I feel like they take some responsibility for themselves. I feel that a person's individuality and way of thinking come out in their skateboarding style, and great skaters have a unique skateboarding style that no one else can imitate. But on the other hand, there are also cases where a random person's skating in a random way is also cool, so it really depends on the person.
Certainly, in a normal society, what would you think of that? In the world of skateboarding, it may be possible for something that would be considered "out of the ordinary" in normal society, to become a person's individuality or a cool advantage.
Kyonosuke:Some people are not punctual ......, but I think everyone is rather loose, or rather, that is a good thing to be free to do so.
I know this is a bit of a loose talk, but "G-SHOCK" is synonymous with toughness. For a challenging skater like Kyonosuke, how do you see toughness?
Kyonosuke:I think you have to be tough to do it. Even in competitions, people who are mentally tough are able to attack and make decisions where they need to make decisions. . So, I think that kind of strength is absolutely necessary.
