Most of my wardrobe is Patagonia.
Patagonia shorts that are not "Baggies" are very unusual.
Sekigawa:I bought them in Hawaii about three years ago, and they are in pretty good shape. In Japan, short board shorts are common, but Hawaiian surfers wear old school, loose-fitting board shorts like these. I bought these board shorts instead of "baggies" because they looked cool. I bought these board shorts instead of "baggy's" because they looked cool, but I would change into "baggy's shorts" after going in the water. I'm covered in Patagonia (laughs).
You are quite a Patagonia lover, how long have you loved Patagonia?
Mr. Sekikawa's personal possession, "Pata Agonia".
Sekigawa:It all started when I saw that my friends in different countries who were of the same mind were wearing Patagonia. I had never been interested in Patagonia before, but the more I looked into it, the more I was attracted to the brand's philosophy and I fell in love with it. Also, I liked the fact that my favorite surfers were wearing Patagonia.
Who was the surfer?
Sekigawa:Dave Rastovich is the guy. When I was in Australia, my roommate showed me a lot of his videos, and I was imprinted with his coolness (laughs). (Laughs.) The videos on Patagonia's YouTube site are pretty cool, too, so please check them out.

When do you wear "Capilene"?
Sekigawa:I wear a T-shirt when I surf in the summer because the sun is so strong. So I wear Patagonia board shorts, a Patagonia T-shirt, and a Patagonia surf hat. I really wear Patagonia all year round (laughs).
