HOUYHNHNM's & Salomon's Summer Fun Tour ♡ Vol.1 Minakami

Salomon is a French-born outdoor brand that covers a wide range of activities including trail running and skiing. In recent years, Salomon has become popular in the fashion and lifestyle scenes, but the true value of its superior functionality can only be realized when used in the field. This project is about using Salomon's shoes and gear to enjoy the summer to the fullest. The title of this project is "HOUYHNHNM's x Salomon's Hands-on Summer Fun Tour. For the first installment, we took model Yuki Mihara, who loves running and mountain climbing, to the town of Minakami in Gunma Prefecture, known as a sacred place for outdoor activities!

Amphibious shoes for peace of mind.

The three wore barefoot sandals and water shoes by "Salomon" for SUP.

Mr. Mihara is wearing "Speedcross Sandals" on his feet. These strappy sandals feature the sole of the Speedcross trail running shoes, which are known for their high grip.

Enomoto and Yamamoto are wearing "Amphibi Bold 2. These are water shoes that can be sloshed directly into the water. They have excellent drainage and breathability, so even if you get splashed while SUPing or drown in the lake, they will keep your feet comfortable.

The appeal of these shoes is that they are "amphibious.

Whether on land or walking through a rocky stream, the surface conditions of waterfront activities vary from place to place. Amphibious shoes that can go straight into the water and have non-slip soles will provide peace of mind in any situation.
