It's become a common language for rugby lovers.

In the mountains:I went to Okinawa last week, and there were several people wearing "Canterbury" at the hotel where I was staying. They looked like rugby players.

Fujii:He said he would know it when he saw it.

In the mountains:Yes, I did. He said, "Oh, he's definitely playing rugby" (laughs).

(laughs). Of course, Canterbury is based on the premise of sports, but what is the balance between fashion and performance at Halften Canterbury?

Fujii:Of course, you can't go to a game with it, so it's basically the same except for real competition use, so I'm thinking about "how to make casual wear using sports materials and techniques. When you look at the bench coats worn by athletes today, for some reason they haven't evolved at all, haven't they? I think it would be cool if they were made of GORE-TEX, or military-style jackets like the Monster Parka, and one of my ideals is to make that happen.

In the mountains:It would definitely be cool to have that. I didn't think much of it because I usually wear it and think, "Well, that's just the way it is.

Fujii:Therefore, ease of movement and functionality are also very important. It is a winter sport, so warmth is also important. I am confident that I can make a very good product, but it is still a work in progress.
