HOUYHNHNM's & Salomon's summer play tour ♡ vol.6 Kotani & Hakuba

Salomon is a French-born outdoor brand that covers a wide range of activities including trail running and skiing. In recent years, Salomon has become popular in the fashion and lifestyle scenes, but the true value of its superior functionality can only be realized when used in the field. This project is about using Salomon's shoes and gear to enjoy the summer to the fullest. The title of this project is "HOUYHNHNM's x Salomon's Hands-on Summer Fun Tour. For the sixth installment, we will visit Kotani and Hakuba villages in the foothills of the Northern Alps in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture!

「小谷村」ってどんなところ？

とういうわけでやってきました小谷村へ！

ここは小谷村南部の栂池高原の山麓にある栂池ゴンドラリフト乗り場。夏は登山や山岳観光、冬はスキーやスノーボードなどのアクティビティの起点となる場所です。

ちなみに「小谷村」は「おたりむら」、「栂池」は「つがいけ」と読みます。知らなかった人はこれを機にお見知りおきを。

長野県の北部に位置する小谷村は、ここ栂池高原からアプローチが可能な白馬岳をはじめとする白馬連山のほか、雨飾山、大渚山といった登山好きに人気の山々を擁する自然豊かな地。また、この地域一帯の小谷村と白馬村、大町市は「Hakuba Valley」と総称され、季節ごとに様々なアクティビティが楽しめる人気のエリアでもあります。
