Playback! The Weekender - Local Culture Festival Vol.2

HOUYHNHNM's and PARCO held an autumn cultural festival "THE WEEKENDER - LOCAL CULTURE FESTIVAL" at 8 locations across Japan. We will be releasing three photo reports in order to convey the excitement of the event to those who were able to attend and those who were unable to make it. In this second installment, we will play back photos from the Shibuya, Kichijoji, and Sendai events held in October!

Drink, sing, and catch a glimpse of the unique culture of Kichijoji Parco.

Kichijoji Parco is filled with a funky menagerie led by stylist Ramuda Takahashi. Not only people in the fashion industry, but also a public bathhouse, a ramen shop, a location bus driver, and even a YouTuber. The lineup was impressive, but the crowd was just as enthusiastic. Lambda's team's basic policy is to provide friendly service. Customers joined in the fun as participants, and even an outdoor movie was shown at the end, bringing the event to a successful conclusion.

PARCO is located in Kichijoji, which has long reigned supreme in the "Best Places to Live" rankings. It has created a unique town where casual culture and nature intersect. Visitors can watch movies at "UPLINK", dig through records at "Disk Union", and even buy vegetables and fruits at "United Nature", a grocery store, from the day of the "WEENENDER" event. In this way, the place has become rooted in the lives of Kichijoji residents. Last year, the co-working space "SkiiMa" was also established, and the fact that it is gradual and yet keeps up with the trends of the times may be the reason why it has been loved for so long.
