Playback! The Weekender - Local Culture Festival Vol.2

HOUYHNHNM's and PARCO held an autumn cultural festival "THE WEEKENDER - LOCAL CULTURE FESTIVAL" at 8 locations across Japan. We will be releasing three photo reports in order to convey the excitement of the event to those who were able to attend and those who were unable to make it. In this second installment, we will play back photos from the Shibuya, Kichijoji, and Sendai events held in October!

Sendai Parco to the sound of Kakubarizumu.

It was on the rooftop of Sendai PARCO 2, a little farther away from the main building. The reason why the atmosphere was so lively from start to finish was probably due to the personality of Kakubarizumu Wataru Kakubari. The atmosphere was friendly from morning to night, with a relaxed market, portrait stores, restaurants, and artists performing and talking to the crowd. It was as if the relaxed atmosphere of Sendai was directly reflected in the event.

What's like SENDAIPARCO?

The fashionable people of the north gather.

Speaking of Sendai, it is still too easy to get stuck on the words that follow! This is a town where fashionable people gather. The area in front of the station is crammed with gems of secondhand clothing stores, and in the center of it all is Sendai PARCO. What's more, PARCO is spread over two buildings in Sendai. From fashion to culture, the city is developing with so much heat that it cannot be contained in one place.
