Changing rods and trying different lures, large and small, we researched the water and tried to locate the fish, but again, no hits. Again, in this spot, the battle of wits between man and fish was decided in favor of the latter.

I haven't land fished in a really long time . . but it makes me think differently than usual, which is interesting. . It's a real swamp, because a change in environment gives you something new to try. And going around to different spots also gives me a sense of adventure. It reminds me of how I felt as a child.
