After registering for the race, we strolled around the spa town!
After arriving at Nozawa Onsen Village, the first thing to do is to check in at an inn.
The inn is Yasuragi no Yado Shirakaba . It is cozy and the food is amazingly delicious. It is the regular lodging of HOUYHNHNM RUNNING CLUB♡ and we have been staying there every year.
After checking in at the inn, go to the race registration area . Check out the exhibitors' booths , and pick up your bib.
Registration is completed without incident! Receiving your bib number, you start to realize that you are finally going to run in the race.
The race starts the next morning. The 65-kilometer race in which Yamamoto and Yuri will participate will start at 7:00 a.m. , and the 14-kilometer race in which Enomoto and Makino will participate will start at 10:00 a.m.
After the reception, we had some time to spare before dinner , so we decided to do some light sightseeing in the village.
Drive the car to the sunset point at Kaminodaira Kogen . This is a spectacular spot with a panoramic view of the Nozawa Onsen hot spring resort.

Ogama" is one of the most famous spots in Nozawa Onsen, where hot spring water of more than 90 degrees Celsius gushes out and a cloud of steam rises up from the ground.
Nozawa Onsen is famous for its out-spa baths that dot the hot spring resort area. The out-spa baths are the common property of the community and have been carefully protected by the villagers from generation to generation. They are open to tourists as well. Please enjoy them with good manners. This is "Taki no Yu" located a little above Asagama.
Once we parked our car in the parking lot, we decided to take a walk around the hot spring resort.
