This summer, I went to festivals, camping, fishing, and many other places all over the country. One of the most impressive places was Awaji Island, where I was invited by Mr. Nishino of "NEET" and met him for the first time. My fourth overseas trip this year was to Seoul, Korea. Eight of my work colleagues and I attended the wedding of two people who were members of our company. Saho Terao's book "My Rebellion.
For end of year fun.
I got to know Saho Terao when I bought "Elliptical Dreams" after Hama-san told me about it a few years ago. From this work I also learned about Seiki Hanada and Midori Ozaki. I had never thought about ellipses before, so I personally wondered if it was a grayish thing between black and white. After that, I got everything from "Trasmundo," including "Comet Solitude," which was published by Saho Terao, and the LP of "Tandem," which was split into two in winter, in which she was the vocalist. My Rebellion" was published by Saho Terao in July of this year. It is a collection of essays with nine acquaintances from different generations and occupations, including Saho Terao, who says she never had a rebellious period. I purchased this book online rather than through Trasmundo, but I put it on my bookshelf for now, thinking I would read it slowly around the end of the year. Before that, I would like to visit some live concert in Tachikawa or Sendagi in November. I heard "Elliptical Dream" on the way home from seeing the movie "Fukuda-mura Incident" directed by Tatsuya Mori the other day, and it was so great that I decided to go see Hama-san for the first time in a while.

ISSUGI & DJ SHOE's CD "Both Banks - GQ REMIX EP".
Underrated.
The 29-track mix album "Both Banks" was released about 2 years ago, and is a chemical reaction between Tokyo and Fukuoka Hip Hop, created by ISSUGI and DJ SHOE. It is recommended to check it out together with the "BLACK FILE" interview available on YouTube. In the meantime, "Both Banks - GQ REMIX EP" remixed by Fukuoka-based GQ was released last month, and I was surprised when I listened to it immediately. It's too much for me to say, but I think it's a bit out of this world or, to borrow a phrase from ISSUGI's blog, GQ is too "underrated". When GQ performed the song for the first time at P-VINE's "This Town" event, it was so cool that I bought the CD after the show. COVAN's verse in "NL - GQ Remix" is also badass, and "In The City - GQ Remix" is just like this... I just had to listen to it. If possible, please release "Both Banks - GQ REMIX EP" on vinyl too.
