beyond wild to street

Outdoors and Fashion.
About Arc'teryx explored from both poles.

ARC'TERYX was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1989. The company's innovative products, created using the best materials and technologies available on the planet, have made its presence felt not only in the outdoors, but also on the streets. Extreme environments and urban life. Why does Arc'teryx attract people in these two extreme situations? We will hear the real voices of four Arc'teryx users, and try to answer the question from the two perspectives of the outdoors and fashion.

-I see that you are using the Arc'teryx ski pants for town use. The vivid colors look great.

Giesen: Arcteryx has a strong outdoor image, but I think they are also cute to wear around town. The color of these pants is flashy, so I tried to keep the rest of the outfit simple and calm, adding just a few accessories.

-What is your favorite point?

Giesen: Love the silhouette and coloring. The silhouette is straight, but I wear a men's size S, which is a little big. The other day, a handsome man complimented me, saying, "I like your jeans, they're from Arc Communications.

-Do you often do styling that plays with color?

Giesen: I like neutral colors, but I have quite a lot of colorful things in my closet. I probably don't wear all black all the time.

-Arc'teryx has many colorful items, so I think they will fit in with Ms. Giesen's style.

Giesen: That's right. I am half-Canadian and half-Japanese, and when I went back to Canada, I visited an Arc'teryx store, and it is true that they have a wide variety of colors, including many flashy colors. I also like to wear nylon material, hiking shoes, and other active outfits that make me feel as if I can go to the mountains without changing. This brand fits perfectly with that kind of style.

-I think Arc'teryx is a Canadian brand, so it must be widely known in the local market.

Giesen: I was impressed by the simple but unique outfits that everyone was wearing on the streets. I was particularly impressed by a person wearing a tight top with an Arc'teryx hair band. I have an orange knit hat myself, and seeing that made me want to get a hair band as well. I wanted to use accessories to accentuate simple outfits.

-By the way, Mr. Giesen, you climb mountains often, don't you? These ski pants are GORE-TEX, so they will work well for winter mountaineering.

Giesen: Just the other day, I went to the snowy mountains. I wore these ski pants on that trip, and it was a great decision. They kept out the wind and the snow from getting in through the hems, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. I was reminded once again that Arc'teryx is as good as it gets.

-When you wear it in town, of course, but also in the outdoors, you can feel its functionality even more.

Giesen: Nothing beats GORE-TEX (laughs). When you are climbing a mountain, it is cold before sunrise, but once you start climbing, you sweat even in winter, and it soon gets hot. GORE-TEX is very good for mountain climbing, where the environment can easily change. Moreover, Arc'teryx products look sophisticated and are reliable both in the mountains and in town.
