--We are now at the 52.5 km mark of the FUJI100mi. How are you feeling so far?
Not so bad. The climb up to the Tenko Mountains was tough, but I started to feel better after the descent.
--Have you ever completed a 100-mile race?
Last year, I completed the 100-mile Shinetsu Gogaku (信越五岳) race. This is my second 100-mile race.
--We have about 110 kilometers to go to the goal. Please tell us about your enthusiasm.
We have plenty of time to spare, so we want to run the race with the goal of finishing while having fun and not rushing or hurrying.
*Result: 42 hours, 20 minutes, 56 seconds to complete the race!
