--We are now at the 97.4 km mark of the FUJI100mi. How are you feeling so far?
It's nice. The weather was fine, neither hot nor cold, making it easy to run. Fuji was visible beautifully from start to finish, making it a perfect FUJI day.
--What is your goal this time?
This was his third attempt at this event. Last year, I achieved the 28-hour mark, but placed 101st overall. My goal this time is to surpass that.
--We have about 70 kilometers to go to the finish line. Please tell us about your enthusiasm.
I will not let up and will continue to move forward to the end, and I hope to overcome my last year's self.
*Results: Finished the race in 27 hours, 55 minutes, and 59 seconds, placing 72nd overall!
