Fishing in Hachijojima still continues.
After returning to the port and taking a rest at the inn, we will go back to the sea. Next to the offshore reefs, we will target squid by egging, gogomoku fishing by bukkomi, and night fishing as well!
Looking up, the sky was full of stars. Occasionally, I was able to see a streak of shooting stars shining from one end of my field of vision to the other, and I was reminded once again of the richness of nature on Hachijo-jima.
But after an hour, the bite is still ....... When I looked underwater, there were not even any small fish. We persisted, but the wind was too strong, and unfortunately, we had to pull out. And so our Hachijojima fishing trip came to an end.
Not everything turned out the way I wanted, but that's part of fishing. It was a very satisfying trip! We boarded the plane with our catch and headed straight to Shibuya. We were a bit bewildered by the warp from the great outdoors to the big city, but our destination was PEZ, a popular seafood French restaurant. We were treated to deliciously prepared Hachijojima seafood that we had caught ourselves. Fishing was fun and eating was delicious. It was a great fishing trip to the end.
Ishii: Everyone got a tan and felt like they got an early taste of summer. I think everyone caught a lot of fish and was satisfied with their catch. To be honest, I didn't expect to catch so many species of fish (laughs).
Murata: . I was able to reconfirm how interesting fishing is, and it was a total blast. I was able to experience firsthand that the fish that can be caught are completely different depending on the location, and above all, I felt the richness of the Kuroshio Current in the abundance of fish on Hachijojima.
Murayama: . there were many anglers coming from the mainland, and it was a great environment. I would definitely go to Hachijojima again, as I heard that if you take a boat to the floating reefs, you can catch sailfish and bonito as well.
Ikemoto: It was a good fishing trip where I enjoyed a variety of fishing . It looks like a good place to go with the family to enjoy the resort. The snorkeling looked nice too.
Komatsu: . It was a great trip where I could immerse myself in fishing only. I was also very satisfied with the gourmet food on Hachijojima, such as island sushi, kusaya , and asuyo leaves. . I was reminded once again that fishing has helped me lead a fulfilling life.
