Why we like ASICS.
I have always loved "ASICS. The reason is simple and clear: the brand's iconic ASICS stripe (a.k.a. the Mexican line) on the side looks somewhat like my family's family crest, the well-digit crest. To say that I like the brand on a blood level may be an exaggeration, but there is no doubt that it is a brand that I unconsciously pick up whenever I notice it. Now, the photo shows the new "Gernimbus 10.1," which was recently released. This pair features an asymmetrical design and an open mesh upper. For the first time in several years, I went to a CD store on the day of release.
Now that subscriptions are the norm, it seems like a long time ago that I went to TOWER RECO in Shibuya after work to buy a CD on its release date. The purpose was to buy a BAYONETS album. It is the first album "GOOD OLD DAYS" released on "Bootstomp Records" which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
I wanted to buy the CD, but I was also interested in the autographs and comment cards displayed on the 3rd floor, so there was no reason not to go. It's hard to say what it's like to go see an uncle, and to enjoy a close-up photo of four skinhead faces. ...... I went back home and listened to the album, which was described in the official release as a "thuggish HARDCORE
PUNK sound" of the official release. I was wondering who the artwork was, and when I looked at the credits, I saw that it was Mr. Lordz of Brooklyn.

Convenience is not proportional to wealth.
We visited "Stacks Bookstore" for ZECS's exhibition.
While I had a chance to meet Zecs and see his works for the first time since April, another thing I was looking forward to was the lineup of books selected by the store. Since the store moved to Jimbocho, the number of new books from various publishers has increased dramatically, and the contrast between the independent works and zines made us feel "Stacks-like". One of the many books we purchased was "In the Time of Dusk. I had only read "Kishibe no Albume" and "Ikiru Kanashimi" by Taichi Yamada, and when I picked it up out of curiosity, Maru-san told me that "it is highly recommended," so I had no reason not to read it. The book is mainly a collection of essays written by Taichi Yamada in his 70s. I was also interested in "Ozu Gomomi (Midori Nakano)" and "Sawamura Sadako no Hito (Yoko Yamazaki)," which were introduced in Chapter 4, where he talks about the books he read, and bought them at a bookstore after reading them. Reading "At the Hour of Dusk" and the two books made me realize that convenience and affluence are not proportional, nor should they be.
