Only time will tell.

LEO Hagika Fujii , Time for a couple to carve with Timex.
-Part 1: LEO-.

Timex is a long-established American wristwatch manufacturer with its origins in military watches. With its practical design and functionality, Timex has been a popular item for a long time and continues to mark time with many people. Time flows equally among people, but the way we spend it varies. In this issue, we focus on "married couples" who share such time closely. The couple featured in this issue is LEO and Hagihana Fujii. What does time mean to these two artists? In the first part, we asked LEO, and in the second part, we asked Hagika Fujii.

The most important thing in music is to lose track of time.

LEO is the vocalist and leader of the band "ALI". What does music mean to you?

LEO: Music is like God to me. I believe in it, I love it, and I receive salvation from it. Music has always helped me, and it is because of music that I have been able to live this long. I can think about everything that concerns me through music. It was also thanks to music that I met Hagihana-san.

. that they are inseparable from themselves.

LEO: . yes. At the same time, it is a way to make my dreams come true. It is also through music that I can return the favor and love to those who are involved with me, and it is also through music that I can obtain everything I want, including money and other things.

How do you deal with time when you are involved in music, which is a part of you?

LEO: I think of it as "something to forget. There are things that I really love, but when I am immersed in music, I don't feel time. In other words, if it is not something that I can forget about, I cannot continue to do it.

LEO: Also, our music must make people forget about time. We need to create a time and space where people who come to our live concerts can escape from their daily work and other unpleasant things. . so that kids can go out and play and forget about the curfew in the evening and keep playing.

In order to do so, I first need to create music that I can be so absorbed in that I forget about time. Therefore, if I concentrate too much on music production, I forget to contact Mr. Hagiwara, and he gets angry with me. ......

Hagiwara: Sometimes I forget to call, even if it's not work, though (laughs).

LEO: Yes, ....... . I always try to be aware of my work time and private time.

What are the moments in your daily life when you feel a strong sense of time?

LEO: We have twin boys, and it's when I see them grow up. When I come home and see them both starting to speak, eating more food, laughing more, and doing things they couldn't do before, I feel the accumulation of time. At that moment, I feel very happy, I look back to the past, and I feel deeply moved.

. . the time you feel through your child is as fleeting as the time you spend facing the music.

Hagiwara: It's really true.

LEO: I'm sure Hagihana, who watches my kids on a daily basis, feels this way, but for a year or two after the twin boys were born, I didn't have the luxury of ...... and no longer remember what happened right away.

LEO: I've been a parent for as long as I've been a parent, and I've learned a lot about child-rearing, and I don't know many people around me who are parents of twins, so I'm learning more every day. The flow of time has obviously changed since the birth of my children. The time between waking up in the morning and going to bed at night is like a "snap" (snap your fingers) in an instant.

Hagiwara: It is so fast that it is hard to believe that this is the same day I had spent before. The experience of time is different. It still is, though.
