LEO Hagika Fujii , Time for a couple to carve with Timex.
-Part 1: LEO-.

Timex is a long-established American wristwatch manufacturer with its origins in military watches. With its practical design and functionality, Timex has been a popular item for a long time and continues to mark time with many people. Time flows equally among people, but the way we spend it varies. In this issue, we focus on "married couples" who share such time closely. The couple featured in this issue is LEO and Hagihana Fujii. What does time mean to these two artists? In the first part, we asked LEO, and in the second part, we asked Hagika Fujii.

I want to say "good morning" to each other until the end of my life span.

. Both of you are busy with work and raising children. Timex is currently promoting the "analog life," which means "getting away from smartphones and social networking sites and making time for yourself. What have you done recently to practice the "analog life"?

LEO: The other day, our first family trip to Okinawa was just like that. Hagihana-san suddenly said, "I'm going tomorrow" (laughs). Before that, Hagihana-san and I went to Lollapalooza, a music festival in Chicago, and I don't know if it was because of the loneliness of not seeing my kids. ......

Hagiwara: Let's do something summery!" I suddenly thought, "Let's do something summery!

LEO: Hagihana immediately arranged airline tickets and a hotel for me for the three days I had available. To be honest, I had no idea how much fun I would have playing in the ocean or at the pool, I had never been on a vacation before, and it was my child's first time on an airplane, so I was a bit apprehensive.

Well, it was actually a bit difficult to move around because of the stampede (laughs), but the four of us went to the pool for the first time, taught the kids to swim, played with them as much as we could, and it all happened so fast.

LEO: I enjoyed all the time just looking at the scenery with the four of us, without looking at cell phones or TV. Experiencing paradise in a limited amount of time, I learned the importance of focusing on proper family rest.

Hagiwara: It was the first time we all went on a trip together, so we were more into having fun as a family.

LEO: With work and childcare, it is difficult to completely forget about time and make time for oneself, but the trip to Okinawa was a wonderful experience. It was the first time for me to feel that the kids were having fun and we parents were having fun too, without the ego of a parent who says, "The kids are having fun, so I have to have fun too. It was the best! It's healing! I even exclaimed (laughs).

. it's a wonderful way to spend time.

LEO: It may be troublesome at first, but I realized once again that just by taking a few actions, we can actually create unforgettable moments in our lives. Come to think of it, I remember that I also have happy memories of my parents and grandparents taking me somewhere. These memories are important even as an adult, aren't they?

. My dream is to travel around the world with my band and my family. I thought it was not possible yet, since I have to work harder on my music and my children are still small, but this trip to Okinawa made me realize that I really want to make this dream come true. Okinawa was the first step toward my dream.

Hagiwara: Thank goodness . It was worth the bullet!

. . you have chosen two watches this time, one is the "Iron Man®". Is there a reason that you can wear it for activities like traveling?

LEO: Yes . Simple but useful features like water resistance and alarms are good. . A tough watch that can be worn casually when playing with kids is best, even if it gets scratched. . I could wear it on trips to Okinawa and festivals like Lollapalooza. . Since it's usually my mission to drop off and pick up my kids, an alarm is also quite useful. I'm the type of person who can't charge my phone and it often runs out of power, so the watch is quite useful (laughs).

How does it go with the clothes you matched it with?

LEO: I tried to style it with elements of rockabilly, and it fits very well. . The watch is a nice play on the solid outfit.

The other was chosen for the "Q Timex".

LEO: This is a jazzman image in my mind . It's like Frank Sinatra. I tried it on with the suit I was wearing at the concert, and as I thought, the atmosphere was perfect. I can imagine wearing it on stage.

What is the point of this outfit?

LEO: Western boots like Harrison Yamanaka in the drama "The Groundhogs" . . I've always liked wearing them (laughs). I heard that (Bill) Clinton and (George W.) Bush also wore Timex watches, so I decided to match them with Western boots from an American brand called "Le Casey," which had been worn by past presidents. As someone who has been influenced by American music, I thought I could express myself in this way.

. -The watch stands out against the suit and boots. Finally, what kind of time would you like to spend with Mr. Hagina in the future?

LEO: . I'd like to keep it simple and keep saying "good morning" and "I'm off. Every morning I feed the kids breakfast and take them to daycare on my bike, and Hagihana-san comes out to the bike stand and sees me off.

At that time, I think that "being able to have breakfast together" and "being able to say 'good morning' and 'I'm off'" are the rights of a family. For example, in another 15 years or so, I will probably have a girlfriend or start living alone, so how many times can we say "Good morning" and "I'm off" to each other?

Hagiwara: Oh no , I miss it just thinking about it!

LEO: I don't know how many more times I can say this until our lifespan is up, but I want to cherish that time.
