Wear, eat, and play. Slow tempo fall menu.
AUTUMN HAS COME.

Wear, eat, and play.
Slow-tempo fall menu.

It is no exaggeration to say that the hot summer, with its extreme weather every day, has gradually begun to cool down, and signs of autumn are finally beginning to appear in the streets of Tokyo. As the weather turns hotter and hotter, the autumn fashions, tastes, and events are becoming more and more popular. Summer was fun, and we are sad to leave it behind, but we still want to enjoy the changing of the four seasons in various ways that are uniquely Japanese. The autumn menu at SLOW TEMPO, the flagship store of MELPLE, is linked to this mood. Just like the autumn of reading, the fall of appetite, and the fall of fat, enjoy the three autumn flavors offered by SLOW TEMPO.

#2_Eat Make with local classmates,
Seasonal vegetables and exquisite dishes.

Ando Farm is located in a quiet residential area near Kinuta Park in Setagaya Ward. Ando-san and Onodera-san, who run this farm, have been old friends since junior high school. Clothes and vegetables? Some may think so, but their attitude of working together to make the local community thrive is a style in itself. They jointly hold an event called "SLOW Vintage Market" that combines vintage clothing and vegetables on an irregular basis. Vintage Market," which combines vintage clothing and vegetables, is held on an irregular basis.

I met Ando-kun at a local drinking party, and since then we have been seeing each other frequently. We meet for tea when I have a little free time, and he listens to my stories, so I feel like he's a local friend I can hang out with easily.

On the day of the shoot, we harvested senryo eggplants, white eggplants, and cucumbers. The time spent with the vegetables while enjoying a casual conversation with junior high school classmates is truly priceless.

Ando Farm's vegetables can be purchased at the farmers' market in Futakotamagawa. It is rare to find Setagaya vegetables picked in the morning, so please experience the freshness and taste of these vegetables.

Mr. Onodera's harvested vegetables were not at his restaurant, but at Yakitori Torinosu in Shibuya. Torinosu. Located on the 11th floor of a building about a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, it is a hideaway. Why a yakitori restaurant? The mystery was solved when I learned that the owner, Mr. Haga, is also a classmate of Mr. Onodera, having known him since elementary and junior high school.

Haga, who also happens to be a golfing buddy of mine, used to run a yakitori restaurant, and I have been coming to his restaurant ever since. Sometimes I bring Ando-kun's vegetables and have him serve them on a limited menu.

It's not often that two classmates combine their work with each other. Such a story is great, and of course, all the food that Mr. Haga creates is delicious! If there was a better moment than this, with beer in one hand and a taste for the exquisite yakitori and freshly picked Setagaya vegetables in the other, I'd like to know about it.

Not only the food, but also the excellent knife work and pleasant conversation of the staff, including Mr. Haga, are part of the charm of Yakitori Torinozu. During regular business hours, the restaurant offers a three-course menu that allows diners to enjoy seasonal vegetables and its specialty yakitori.

On this day, white eggplant was served with chicken oil and cheese, senryo eggplant was simply served with ginger + soy sauce, and cucumber was served with chicken wings like a chopstick rest for a refreshing taste.
