What kind of fashion is on your mind right now?
HARU: For women, ballet cores are trendy. Tight-fitting, body-lined, deep V-neck tops, ballet shoes, and so on. Many people overseas are incorporating these elements. However, that boom is slowly dying down, and I am wondering what kind of fashion will be interesting next. I am thinking about what kind of fashion will be interesting next. I really like to follow trends in this way.
However, I get the impression that rather than just adopting trends as they are, you interpret them in your own way and express them well.
HARU: I myself like basic items and try to casually incorporate the latest trends within them. I enjoy arranging things in this way.
Do you sometimes incorporate the essence of the outdoors?
HARU: I sometimes try to wear hiking shoes in my daily life. However, it is only for one point. Today's coordinate is the same, but since I brought a Gore-Tex jacket for the top, I decided to go for corduroy for the bottom to take it out of the outfit. The combination of a Gore-Tex jacket and wide silhouette corduroy pants is something you don't see in the outdoors. So I chose dark brown corduroy pants to match the beige blouson. In the outdoors, I think it is common to match the clothes with technical shoes, but I only included them as an element of the outfit.
This jacket is characterized by its short length. What was your impression when you picked it up?
HARU: I thought it was cute. I like short-length clothes, and as I mentioned earlier, I often choose clothes with a twist that you may or may not notice, such as choosing short-length clothes even when choosing basic clothes. I also tighten the drawcords on the hems and hoods and make the silhouettes fitted.
HARU: I also like that the lambskin fur for attaching the hooks is removable, so I can put it on when fishing and take it off when in town. The pockets are also designed to keep rain out. In my case, I often go on location for filming, so it is convenient to have this kind of clothing when it rains.
