FACE and SHINKNOWNSUKE's idea of game synergy.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the "Monster Hunter" series, the hunting action game known for its popular "Let's go hunting! To commemorate this anniversary, the first collaboration with PUMA was realized. Games and fashion are now building a synergistic friendship, but how much influence do they have on each other? We asked artists FACE and SHINKNOWNSUKE, members of the game team "DHC (Dekoboko Happy Club)" made up of creators, about games, starting with the collaborative collection.

The realistic monsters of "Monhan.

-Did you both play "Monster Hunter" (hereafter referred to as "Monhan")?

FACE: I was playing "Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G". It was revolutionary to be able to play online and communicate with other players. I got addicted to it with my friends in the share house, and we all had our lives disrupted( lol).

SHINKNOWNSUKE: I didn't play. It sounds interesting to hunt monsters while communicating with others, but I was really into FPS( first-person shooter). You cook the meat of the monsters you hunt and eat it together, right?

FACE: Meat grilling has nothing to do with multiplayer. It's not a cooking game. ( lol ). do you play monster games much?

SHINKNOWNSUKE: I play a lot of one-on-one games. I don't know the details of what I play, but I do keep an eye out for information on new "Monster Hunter" games. Each monster has its own habits, and it's interesting to see how they are set up. If it was a game a while ago, you had enemies that were stuck up against a wall.

FACE: I was there ( lol ).

SHINKNOWNSUKE: That was the dusty part, but "Monhan" is very realistic in its movements. I'm very interested in how well it's done.

FACE: Mr. Shin (SHINKNOWNSUKE) is always checking for game information.

SHINKNOWNSUKE: Like with movies, about once a half year, I check out a reel video of a film that is being released.

-FACE, do you like games where you have to fight monsters?

FACE: That's right. I was addicted to "Dracula" when I was a child, so I like monster games. That's why I get excited when I see a monster I've never seen before in "Monster Hunter. I wonder if I can get good materials or weapons by defeating them.

-One of the attractions of "Monster Hunter" is the realistic design of the monsters. Are there any monsters that have left a lasting impression on you?

FACE: The first big monster that appeared in the "Mon-Hun" game I was playing was called "Furuhuru. It looked like a worm and was disgusting.

SHINKNOWNSUKE: It's called "fullfull". I've seen it before.

FACE: It was early in the game when I wasn't used to fighting big monsters yet, so it was tough to beat them. But it was fun.
