Polo Sport, a.k.a. Polo Sport, was born in 1992 as the sports line of Polo Ralph Lauren, which was then absorbed by RLX and terminated. It is still fresh in our minds that the brand miraculously made a comeback last year, isn't it?
Despite the name "Polo Sport," the label was characterized by the fact that it made many casual wear items not only from polyester, nylon, and other synthetic fibers, but also from cotton and other natural fibers.
The designer at that time is said to be Mr. Michael Tapia. He is still active in his own brands, " Tapia Los Angeles" and "El Camino Real," so many of you may know him.
This shirt, which would have been handmade by Mr. Ralph Lauren, is made of 100% cotton. If this were a Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, it would likely be a button-down, but a regular collar is used here. The choice of twill material, rather than the standard oxford, is a surprise.
I personally like these items, which do not attract much attention in the public eye, and which are more like a silver-tone than the polospora items that are generally imagined. The size of this item is a large, which is perfect for my current mood.
It is a white shirt, but you should wear it gung-ho, wash it, and treat it messily!
