From nothing to something. From nothing to something, I express what lies between the two. Stein" is a simple, yet delicate imagination that is fully demonstrated in its creations.
The concept for the 2017 AW season is "quietness". As the word "quietness" suggests, the story behind each item seeps from the depths of the minimalism without decoration.
HIGH NECK LONG SLEEVE
When we thought about the beauty that lies within serenity, we came up with the works of the Impressionist painters who were at the center of the French art movement centered on painting in the late 19th century. Each name is printed on the lower front portion of the body. Printed in colors that match the style of each artist on a long sleeve with a minimalistic, inorganic cardboard fabric texture.
BALMACAAN COAT
The BALMACAAN COAT is said to have begun to be worn in Scotland around the same time as the Impressionist art movement of the 19th century, and was named after a place in Scotland called Balmacaan. The fabric is made from super 120s wool, the highest quality wool in Victoria, Australia. The oversized feel and the overlapping of the fabric in the front part create a sense of fall and movement, giving the coat a minimalist impression but with a lot of movement.
FAKE SUEDE PULL OVER
Made of high quality faux suede fabric with a soft texture and moderate fleshiness, the blend of POLYESTER and POLYURETHANE is adjusted to match the color in BLACK and PURPLE. The arm transition area is made of the fabric on the reverse side for a subtle assertion. The slightly oversized silhouette of the garment allows the fabric to be used to its fullest, giving the garment a look of movement.
FAKE SUEDE JACKET
Made of high quality faux suede fabric with a soft texture and moderate fleshiness, the blend of POLYESTER and POLYURETHANE is adjusted to match the color in BLACK and PURPLE. The arm transition area is made of the fabric on the reverse side for a subtle assertion. By taking the neck area a little in the vertical direction, the overall image is sublimated to a mode impression. The coach jacket, which originally has a strong image of casual and street style, is made to look a little more like art (a work of art).
DENIM JEANS TYPE-B
DENIM JEANS TYPE-A (20) / color : hand painted on lt.indigo The unevenness of the flattering and non-flattering parts, like impressionist paintings, is expressed by hand painting.
STRIPE TROUSERS
Pinstripe slacks inspired by the navy trousers worn in Renoir's famous film "Blanco". The color development dares to use only one color, navy. The unique gradation-like fabric, which produces different shades of navy depending on the way the light hits it, gives it an artistic look. The waist part is made to the specifications of "Stein's" standard easy slacks.
FAKE SUEDE SLASH TROUSERS
Soft textured, moderately fleshy, high quality faux suede fabric with a blend of POLYESTER and POLYURETHANE to match the color in BLACK and PURPLE. Tapered silhouette with inside cutout and snap buttons. The side chapters on the sides use the reverse side of the fabric, with a slight difference in fabric feel and color.
SWEAT LS -Impressionism
Printed sweatshirt with an oversilhouette look. The print is used differently in green, red and purple. Impressionism" print on the front. The bulky fabric is made of yarns produced by special spinning, which is different from the usual ring yarn structure. The fabric is made of resilient cotton 100%, and the surface is also attractive for its flat, minimalistic peculiar fabric that looks like a mixture of poly.
DENIM JEANS TYPE-A (20)
This tapered silhouette denim has a clean, minimalist image by using navy stitching (the same color as the body) only for the 20-count stitches normally used on denim. The denim has an image of being inorganic with a slight sense of discomfort. The denim fabric is made of yarn dyed to the core at the spinning stage, and the overall color fades flat.
The sale will be held at Harajuku's "CAROLAt the "Mere Old Man". This is not a brand that overlays its product inventory, so we recommend that those who are interested in an item should try to roll up their sleeves as soon as possible.
