To celebrate the release, a reception party was held on the first day of the event at the Omotesando store. The free-entry party was packed with Larry Clark fans, skaters, fashion lovers, young people, and others involved with the project, and was a great success. Let's take a look back at the event with photos.
The items, which were the focus of much attention even before their release, are products that incorporate previously unreleased photos from the movie "Kids". Among them, small items such as lighters, playing cards, bandanas, and original posters were popular right from the start of the event. It may be said that these products are among the rarest and most valuable of all the collaborative products that Larry Clark has made so far. Other items such as remade shirts using vintage clothing bodies, sweatshirts, photo T-shirts, hoodies, and caps also adorn the lineup, and more entrance mats and tote bags are planned for the future.
At the reception party, two original mini burgers from J.S. Burgers Cafe, a burger cafe operated by Journal Standard, were served, along with a large amount of free beer!
These novelty knapsacks were distributed to the first 200 visitors on the day of the event. . Inside it was a set of "Rarikura-kuudon" co-created with a popular udon store in Kagawa Prefecture called "Ichifuku.
The guest DJs were Shioriy Bradshaw, an up-and-coming feminist DJ, and Yoshifumi "YOPPI" Egawa, director of "Hombre Niño". Both of them wowed the audience with their solid setlists.

Mr. Hidenori Matsuoka, the editor-in-chief of "HIDDEN CHAMPION," a free culture magazine that is the pride of Japan, arrived at the reception party as soon as it started.
Next up were 4K PR office representative Mitsunori Kawamura (middle left) and press manager Hironori Sato (middle right), as well as twin brothers Kazunori and Kanji Yamanobe (both ends), who are in charge of planning at "A BATHING APE".
Mr. TOKU, a skater himself, is the manager of Harajuku's long-established W-BASE bicycle store.
Mr. Junji Yoshida of "United Arrows" (left) and Mr. Hiroshi Doichi of "BEAMS" (right), both well-known figures in the fashion world, also attended the event.
This is Hideki Asakura, designer of "hobo" (left) and popular stylist Lambda Takahashi (right), who are also good friends in private.
Also caught up with two high school students, Oron Ogawa (left) and Yukino Imai (right), who could be called the real generation in the film "Kids".
Marimo Oyama (left), known as an up-and-coming young skate photographer, and Andrew Wilson (right), a rider of the Swedish skate crew POLOR, who was visiting Japan at the time of the event, were also in a good mood.
Despite the unfortunate rainy weather and the many simultaneous reception parties and events being held in various locations, the event was a great success with a large number of visitors. This was a rare opportunity to experience the high centripetal force of both the Journal Standard, which continues to make great strides as it marks its 20th anniversary, and Larry Clark, a living street legend and genius.
